Idea Gelato is a family company in Quinto di Treviso, in the Veneto region, that has made semi-finished products for gelato shops, pastry shops and coffee shops since 1990. Founder and CEO Luciano Muffato leads a business that selects raw materials carefully, favours local and seasonal ingredients and invests in research and development to refine its processes and recipes. Best-selling products include Tiramisù Treviso, Nocciola Piemonte IGP, Pistacchio Sicilia, Vaniglia Gold, Cremosa 100 and Fruttissima 50 bases, Pronto Limone, variegates and a semifreddo mix. The company also develops custom formulations and private-label products, runs training for professionals and exports to international markets, with recent workshops in Saudi Arabia and trade shows in Shanghai.
