La Fruitière du Val Evel is a family fruit company in Brittany founded in 1962. The Guillemin family grows red berries on about 20 hectares and turns selected fruit into purées for pastry, gelato, chocolate and confectionery. The frozen range covers 54 fruit purées, many without added sugar, while the fresh high-pressure line adds purées, coulis and dessert sauces. An IFS Food V8 higher-level certification covers purchasing and production. Chefs use the aromatic profiles as a starting point for gelato and plated desserts. The workshop in Evellys employs a permanent team of 27 and seasonal harvest workers.
