Cioccolato Maglio is a Salento chocolate maker founded in Maglie in 1875 and still run by the same family in its sixth generation. The company works bean to bar, with a focus on Venezuelan Criollo cacao and sugar-free Cocoalight lines. The range includes bars, pralines, covered fruit, almond milk drinks, spreadable creams and jellies that gelato and pastry labs can use as toppings or flavour bases. Maglio Arte Dolciaria keeps its industrial seat in Maglie and runs showrooms in Maglie, Lecce and Bari. Social projects support cacao growers in Venezuela while the firm marks 150 years of production in 2025.
