Evergreen is a family business in Bronte, Sicily, that grows and processes the Bronte PDO green pistachio. The family has farmed pistachios since 1960, and Pietro Bonaccorso founded Evergreen in 1970; he was also involved in obtaining the protected designation for the Bronte pistachio. The company farms about 10 hectares of its own pistachio orchards. For gelato and pastry makers it produces pure 100% pastes from Bronte PDO and Sicilian pistachios, Avola and Sicilian almonds and Tonda Gentile hazelnuts, as well as chopped and ground nuts, shelled nuts, spreadable creams with 40% nuts and pistachio pestos. Evergreen sells in Italy and in many countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
