Bussy designs and bakes wafer products for gelato shops, pastry kitchens and retail. Luigi Vandone founded the company in Milan in 1967 by taking over a small decoration-wafer workshop. It is still family-run and now exports worldwide from Passirana di Rho near Milan. The range covers cannoli shells, cups, baskets, sticks, fan wafers and chocolate-coated wafers made for professional use. Clean-label recipes and Made-in-Italy production sit at the centre of the offer. Recipe books and a private technical area help gelato makers build plated desserts and cone programmes around the wafers.
