Gelprom is a Portuguese manufacturer of machines for soft serve ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato and milkshakes. The business began in 2000 and took the Gelprom name, short for "gelato professional manufacturer", in 2010, when engineers Ricardo Silva and Daniel Silva joined. Its European office is in Marinha Grande, Portugal, and since 2015 the machines have been built at the group's own factory in China. The range includes the GP100 and GP300 soft serve and frozen yogurt machines, PRO 5 horizontal batch freezers, Pastorlap pasteurizers and Aura display cases. Products carry CE, CB, ETL Sanitation and RoHS certifications, production is ISO 9001 certified, and machines are exported to the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
