Italian taste since 1905 — home of Amarena Fabbri
4 views
Fabbri 1905 is a fifth-generation Italian family company founded in 1905, when Gennaro Fabbri took over a grocery with a cellar in Portomaggiore and began producing liqueurs and syrups. Headquartered in Bologna since 1914, the company is universally recognized for Amarena Fabbri, the semi-candied wild cherries in syrup sold in the iconic white-and-blue jar.
In the post-war years Fabbri created 'cremolato' compound pastes for gelato, flavour pastes turned into gelato by simply adding milk or water, a segment in which the company remains a leader. Today Fabbri 1905 operates across four main markets: ingredients and solutions for Italian artisan gelato; fillings, coatings and decorations for pastry; premium ingredients for beverage and mixology professionals; and consumer products including amarena cherries, syrups and toppings.
From its Bologna headquarters on Via Emilia Ponente, Fabbri exports the taste of Italian tradition to professionals around the world, backed by more than a century of recipes, product development and training for gelato makers, pastry chefs and baristas.
